The Neon Wings Project started as a simple idea, and has grown to be deeply meaningful for myself, and the message I wish to send to others. Neon Wings stems from the feeling of never being good enough, the feeling of never belonging, and feeling out of place. Like fallen angels needing to prove their worth in order to gain their wings back, there is a glow in all of us that we strive to discover. Neon Wings is about, self discovery and self acceptance. I want everyone to understand self love through these pieces. The wings that should free us, sometimes are the reason we are caged. I want everyone that sees these pieces, to feel the neon light that is in all of us, and let your glowing wings sprout through, that have been dimmed and hidden for so long.
